Week 5

this week we finished our podcasts and started our own assignments. i am creating my own game using game maker 6.0. i also signed a contract about it.

nothing was too hard it was all straight forward and simple

i got my information from various sites to help me with the game.

Week 4

this week we continued our podcasting assignment that is due at the end of week 5.

all i really had left to do was do the good copy and add in sound effects, theme music etc.

i didnt find anything that hard, it was all pretty simple.

i didnt need to look for any information or anything. i had everything i needed

Week 3

What I did I do today/this week?

this week we only had one double lesson for it. we looked at examples of podcasts and radio media. we also started work on our own example scripts for a podcast.

What areas did I find difficult?

i didnt find very much difficult except for choosing a topic for an example script. Especially because the topic i would have liked to have chosen was unavailable to research at school.

What did I learn?

i didnt really learn much considering i have done script writing before and it was fairly simple to do.

What do I need to know?

i needed to know how to access the example scripts and how to write a decent script. everything was pretty straight forward.

Where am I going to find the information?

i think i fouind the information on the http://gleeson9itc.pbwiki.com site. but other than that no other information was needed.

week 1 term 2

this week we used the program Audacity to create sounds etc to experiment for the next assigment we are doing. we had to have a certain amount of sound effects, voices, fade ins/outs, etc. it wasnt hard but got annoying at times. audactiy is a fairly basic program thats easy to use but when trying to create complex sounds it got confusing. i learnt how to divide soundtracks and edit them.

Week 10

What I did I do today/this week?

This week i continued with my social networking slide-show to put on www.slideshare.net. although little time was spent on it due to being sick on the Wednesday. So the Monday lesson  was the only time i have done it. During that lesson we had a checklist to complete showing our knowledge of how to use PowerPoint. we had to show that we knew how to upload sounds and music into slide-shows, add videos into slides and add animations to the pictures and text including slide transition etc.

What areas did I find difficult?

I didn’t find any of this difficult because i already knew how to do all of this beforehand. I was simply revising on already completed tasks.

What did I learn?

I didn’t really learn anything from this experience once again because i had already done this before hand.

What do I need to know?

I needed to know how to upload images, videos and music. I also needed to know how to insert animations to text and images and insert slide transitions to make the slide a little more interesting.

Where am I going to find the information?

I didn’t need to find any information because i already had it all… I knew exactly how to do everything i needed to.

week 9

What I did I do today/this week?

this week i signed up to a site called www.slideshare.net and looked few slideshows on the site to get ideas for my own “social networking” assignment. the task was to look through the slideshows and look at each individual slide and determine whether it would be classified as a good or a bad slide for a slideshow. We then had to take a screen shot of the slide and do a small right up about it

What areas did I find difficult? this week it was difficult to find slides that were easily classified as good or bad because yoyu had to really look at what it was telling you and whether it was just a big long paragraph to read through or a visual experience for the audience that was enjoyable to watch.

What did I learn?

i learnt how to determine what you would classify as good and bad slides and how to show it.i also learnt more about www.slideshare.net and how to sign up etc…

What do I need to know?

 this week i needed to know how to look for only slideshows on google and use slideshare properly…at first slideshare was confusing but then it bacame easier and more enjoyable to use.

week 8

What I did I do today/this week?

this week i started my social networking assignment, it involves posting a slideshow on www.slideshare.net to share with other people right around the world.

What areas did I find difficult?

it hasnt become difficult yet but i can see it will become difficult in the coming weeks trying to find appropriate pictures and keywords to fit the criteria.

What did I learn?

for this assignment i havent leart anything yet but i havent had to research or anything yet.

What do I need to know?

i need to know a range of social networking sites and programs

Where am I going to find the information?

To find the site was easy considering i use a few of them on a weekly basis…
